The Process
Ingredients:
- Water or Broth-optionally, add liquid smoke and apple cider vinegar.
- Seasoning– I like pork rub and instant coffee!
- Country Style Ribs
1. Add Water and Trivet
Add the water or broth and trivet to the Instant Pot. You can also add some liquid smoke or apple cider vinegar for more flavor!
2. Season and Add Ribs
Season your ribs to your liking. I like to start by rubbing instant coffee on them, then finish with a pork rub. Add the ribs to the inner pot by stacking them atop each other. Make sure there is space between them for the steam to circulate for even cooking!
3. Pressure Cook and Release
Put the lid on and pressure cook for 25 minutes. When it’s finished, let it natural-release for 10 minutes and then you can manually release the pressure.
4. Sauce Up!
Once the pressure has all been released, remove the Instant Pot Country Style Ribs and cover them with your favorite bbq sauce. If you want some extra flavor and “char”, add them to a pan and broil for a few minutes. Enjoy!
