5 Ingredient Air Fryer Salmon Bites

These Air Fryer Salmon Bites are my FAVORITE way to eat cooked salmon. Since they’re cut into bite-size pieces, there is so much flavor throughout! They’re quick and easy with ingredients that most people already have in their kitchen. I never thought I’d be saying this but even my 3-year-old, super picky eater liked these so they’re definitely kid-friendly!

This goes great with my Instant Pot Jasmine Rice!

The Process

Ingredients:

  • Salmon
  • Soy Sauce
  • Honey
  • Ginger Paste
  • Garlic

1. Cut Salmon

Start by cutting your salmon into bite-sized pieces. They should be about 1″-1.5″ cubes. If your salmon has skin you can eat it or remove it. I prefer to remove the skin, but leaving it will make it crunchy! Add the salmon to a bowl.

2. Add Ingredients

Next add the soy sauce, honey, ginger paste, and garlic and give it a stir. It will already smell AMAZING!

3. Air Fry

Set Air Fryer to 400 for 8 minutes, then wait for it to preheat. Add the salmon to the air fryer. After 4 minutes take them out, flip, and reinsert them. Now keep your eye on it and take it out when it’s cooked to your liking. I like it to be a bit charred on the outside so 8 minutes was perfect. Keep in mind that since air fryers vary in size it could take more or less time depending on your model!

FAQ

What can I eat with this?

This is great with rice but you could also make it into a wrap, put it on a sandwich, or lettuce wraps! I even break it up and put it on crackers for my 3-year-old! When serving, I like to drizzle more honey, sprinkle sesame seeds, and sometimes add sriracha!

What kind of air fryer did you use?

I used the Instant Vortex Plus 6-Quart Air Fryer which is a basket air fryer. If I were to make it in my Instant Omni Plus Air Fryer I’d put it on a small sheet pan to avoid drippings.

Are these Air Fryer Salmon Bites spicy?

Nope, not at all, they’re totally kid-friendly! I sometimes like to add sriracha on top when it’s finished to give it a little kick!
